Borlum is an approved British Horse Society ‘Where to train’ Centre, offering extra  facilities in addition to those of a standard BHS approved Centre. 

We offer first class tuition from beginners right through to Exam students, and provide Examination facilities for BHS Stages One and Two, together with the very practical British Equestrian Tourism Assistant and Ride Leader Awards.

For leisure riders, we provide excellent instruction in a fun environment – you can do your very own ‘Only Fools and Horses’ on an intensive riding course, or take things at a much more leisurely rate.

We have ponies and horses to suit every ability, from safe and dependable ponies who have taught hundreds of children to ride, to those who can give an experienced rider an exhilarating cross country ride.  We pride ourselves that all our horses and ponies are well-mannered and forward-going, and believe that good schooling ensures the best possible experience at every level.  

Regular riders with Borlum have the opportunity to develop their skills with regular lessons, and try a variety of competitions like showjumping, dressage and BHS Trec.

In 2007 we hosted clinics with Ernest Dillon FBHS, Stephen Cruikshank BHSI, Allison Fellowes, Margot Tiffany BHSI and Erik MacKechnie BHSI so do keep an eye on the local equestrian press and this website to see what’s happening in 2008.
