Riding For The Disabled  (www.rda.org.uk) (info@highlandgrouprda.plus.com))

For many years, Borlum Farm has been the location of the centre for the Highland Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association.  The Group has over 200 regular riders, who enjoy its fine setting amidst spectacular scenery.

The indoor and outdoor schools were provided and paid for by funds raised by the Group's volunteers and supporters.  The Group still spends a lot of time and effort fund raising.  Their annual running costs are around £66,000.  The indoor school has ramps and mounting facilities for disabled people with wheel chairs.

Although provided primarily for the benefit of disabled riders, Borlum Farm (Highland Riding Centre) and Highland Group RDA have enjoyed a mutually beneficial arrangement that permits others properly authorised to use the Indoor and Outdoor schools when not required for RDA purposes.
